I wasn’t doing so great.
I lay on the floor
on the telephone to a man
it wasn’t great.

then I called triple oh &
got a woman who said
don’t approach anybody
with anything in your
hands, she said.

oh no I said.

I hung up cleaned the
apartment did the dishes,
for people were
coming around.

it would be much like
a party, I thought, but
there would be guns.

one of those blood
pressure machines. &
body cameras.
